Basics
We're looking to build a community of experienced writers who love Marvel. Most of you who have gotten this far know the basics of roleplay rules. Be courteous to others, if you have an issue, PM a mod. All of those things that you know about roleplay site etiquette.
This is a 16+ community, meaning you'll have a bit more creative freedom in your roleplaying. That said, keep your language reasonable. In your roleplays, sexual contact can be implied, but not written out explicitly. Be tasteful with it.
Listen to the mods, they have the final say. The administrators have an equal say in things, there is no hierarchy.
Most importantly, have a good time!
Applying
When applying for characters, please keep in mind that everyone is asked to maintain a minimum of 2 posts per Regular Character per 1 week period (to be checked by the staff once per month), and each in-character post is expected to be at least one full paragraph in length - long enough to give your posting partner(s) something to reply to.
Besides Regular Characters, members are also allowed to apply for Temp Characters and NPC Characters. Temp Characters are characters that a player wishes to write for, but that they are willing to give up if the right player comes along and wishes to adopt them. NPC Characters are characters that a player wishes to write for, but they are only useful for the occasional thread here or there. These characters do not have to meet the regular posting requirement, because these are, essentially, "as-needed" characters.
Should a player lapse in their posting duties, any Regular Characters who are not being posted for regularly will be removed from the players' control and made available to the general playership for adoption.
Should a Temp Character or NPC Character be needed for a Thread, and their player is unresponsive, the needed character can be made available for adoption at the staff's discretion.
*A Note on NPCs*
There exists a smaller application for NPCs. They will be granted on basis of mod approval, pending the following:
In regards to what kind of characters we allow, we are a canons only board. Please only apply for characters from the Marvel Universe. If it is a character that has not appeared in The Avengers or the films building up to it, you are at the liberty of creating their history. There is a vast array of characters to choose from, we're sure you can find a character you identify with.
NOTE: When writing-up your applications, please bear in mind that you are to be writing the History for your character, and your character alone. If you are interested in playing a character that is part of a group that the Staff have not yet "debuted", you may not take the liberty of establishing that group's History. If you have any questions, please contact the Staff.
In-Character Posting
We strongly suggest five sentences minimum per roleplay post. You are working with a partner, please be considerate and give them something worth replying to.
All Posts will have the following a standard set up to keep posts organized and easy to follow. Players that do not follow this set-up will be at risk of being removed from the game. The set-up looks like this:

Leave Of Absence (LOA)
Our LOA policy is simple. If you go without posting in character for a month, we'll have to give your character up. However, if you post a note in the hello goodbye section explaining your situation/vacation/whatever, we'll give you two months.
We can't give more than two months, especially to higher ranked characters.

- you must have been here, actively, for a month before applying.
- you must complete the (nominal) application.
