Physical Description: Long and lithe, my physique is still slightly reminiscent of my days studying ballet. Several martial art disciplines keep me well-muscled though, so these days my curves wouldn’t look quite at home in a tutu. My dark red hair is a product of necessity – sometimes I need it out of my face, but paired with a good v-neck, it’s hard to beat; men are such easy creatures.

Personality: I’m crafty, but not sneaky. Essentially I just know what I need to do to get what I want; most people are very easy to read. More importantly, I’m a team player. I don’t mind the spotlight, but I don’t seek it – my attention is always focused on the job that needs doing. That goes for Widow or Natasha. Persistence translates to talent, and I learned the immense importance of focus years ago, so I tend to be good at anything I put my mind to.

Powers or Special Abilities:
- Widow’s Bite – wireless tasers that can be dislodged from her bracelets.
- Infinity Serum – this scientific upgrade left Natasha with peak durability, healing, and metabolism rates. It’s also slowed her aging.
- Toolkit – the belt on her Widow suit is equipped with a small range of accessories, including some chemicals, explosives, and blades, as well as a matching pair of firearms.
Skills: I have an enourmous wealth of training at my back. I’m proficient with most any firearm, and well versed in the skills of espionage: lock picking, computer hacking, disguise, linguistics, you name it. I’m always learning – it’s the reason I’m still alive.
Advantages: I’m first and foremost a spy – though my allegiance is solidified these days, I learned a lot from my mercenary days, even beyond the technical skills I picked up. It helps to be able to get into the other side’s head.
Disadvantages: For one, I’m devastatingly human – besides the serum, I have no strength or mortality upgrades like Steve or Tony. For two, some people seem to take offense at my admittedly colourful background; my allegiance is always in question for some people.

History: I was orphaned for the first time at a young age. House fire. Candles weren’t the safest source of light, but we were lucky we even had them sometimes. Or so we thought.
I would be the only survivor that night, thanks to Ivan Petrovitch. He was a Soviet soldier who eventually became a SHIELD operative. I grew up admiring his work… until he was killed when I was 13. That’s when Nick Fury took me in, and that’s why I’ll always know the man does actually have a heart.
I already knew more than I should, and I suppose my background must have seemed useful, because I was allowed to start training with SHIELD that year. I know the institute has its faults… but it was home for me for a long time. Until just recently, in fact. But I’ll get to that.
When I was 18, Nick allowed me full time employment as a SHIELD operative, and I had been with them in that capacity for almost nine years when he planted me as a spy within the Stark Corporation. I spent another 4 months as an employee in their legal department, gathering information and keeping track of Mr. Stark on behalf of SHIELD.
As it turned out, I was part of the same team we sourced Stark for – the Avengers. We saved Manhattan and defied the Council – I suppose you could call us a vigilante group. Luckily I kept out of the whole PR scene; that’s how I prefer it. For now I’m still unknown to the public, and I’m trying my best to keep it that way -- but it’s odd, this sudden PR rush for the superheroes of the world. Who knows what will come up next…
