“We all have secrets; the ones we keep, and the ones that are kept from us”
SPIDER-MAN
Name: Peter Benjaman Parker
Alias(es): Spider-Man, Spidey, Web-Head, Bug Boy
REGULAR , NPC, or TEMP Regular
Age: 18
Height: 5'10''
Physical Description: Peter Parker is a high schol student of average height and build. He isn't physically impressive in any way, and because of this, was often bullied. He has brown hair that looks somewhat messy, and wears either contact lenses or glasses in order to see
Face Claim: Andrew Garfield
Personality: Peter is extremely shy and tongue-tied around girls and also tends to speak without a filter under pressure. This all changes when he puts on his Spider-Man suit, as he cracks jokes even with a gun pointed right at him. He is a loner as a result of being a target for bullies for years. He has a strong moral responsability to try and help people, even though figures of authority seem to find him as a dangerous threat.
Affiliation: None, though will sometimes work with other heroes
Identity: SECRET (Save Gwen Stacey)
Powers or Special Abilities:
Spider-Sense: Spider-Man possesses an extrasensory "danger" or "spider" sense which warns him of potential immediate danger by the manifestation of a tingling sensation in the back of his skull, and links with his superhuman kinesthetics, enabling him to evade most any injuries, unless he cognitively overrides his automatic reflexes. The precise nature of this sense is unknown. It appears to be a simultaneous clairvoyant response to a wide variety of phenomena (everything from falling safes to speeding bullets to thrown punches), which has given several hundredths of a second warning, which is sufficient time for his reflexes to allow him to avoid injury. The sense can also create a general response on the order of several minutes: he cannot discern the nature of the threat by the sensation. He can, however, discern the severity of the danger by the strength of his response to it. Spider-Man's spider-sense is directional and can guide him to or away from hidden weapons and enemies. Sudden and extreme threats can cause his spider-sense to react with painful intensity. Spider-Man can also sense and dodge attacks directed randomly or by a computer. Using his spider-sense to time his enhanced reflexes, Spider-Man can casually dodge attacks up to and including automatic-weapons fire, provided there is sufficient distance. His spider-sense is sufficiently well-linked to his reflexes to the point that a threat can trigger them even when Spider-Man is asleep or stunned. His spider-sense has helped him preserve his secret identity since it alerts him to observers or cameras when changing into or out of his costume. The spider-sense does react to those who Peter does not consider to be a threat. Spider-Man can choose to ignore his spider-sense and distraction or fatigue diminish its effectiveness. Spider-Man's fighting style incorporates the advantage that his "spider-sense" provides him. His body begins to produce more adrenaline after the sense is triggered, an extension of the 'fight or flight syndrome.' A tingling sensation in Peter's skull warns him of danger, where it is coming from and how to avoid it. The stronger the tingling, the more imminent and threatening the danger is. Peter can ignore it through intense concentration, and if he is exhausted or distracted it can lose some effectiveness. This power is passive and not controlled by Peter. However, it seems that this version of Spider-Man's spider-sense is more powerful than the Raimi's version as he was able to sense the police heading towards the bridge when the Lizard was going after Ratha all the way from Stacy's building, meaning he can sense danger from literally miles away.
Superhuman Senses: His senses are heightened, specifically his sight as he no longer needs his glasses after the spider bite.
Superhuman Strength: Spider-Man possesses superhuman strength enabling him to press lift approximately 5 tons. Spider-Man's physical strength is sufficient to lift and throw objects as heavy as most standard automobiles with ease. He must also pull his punches and kicks unless fighting someone of similar or greater physical durability. Otherwise, his blows would prove fatal to a normal human being. He has demonstrated that he is strong enough to enable him to knock out people with normal durability with as little as a tap to the head. Spider-Man's physical strength also extends into his legs, enabling him the ability to jump to a height of several stories in a single bound. As Spider-Man has not fully grown to adulthood, he is not as strong as his comic version yet. However, when and if Peter reaches adulthood, it would be assumed that he would be able to lift 10 tons like his adult comic version. Nonetheless, Peter's muscles are stronger and more efficient as a result of the spider's bite. He is shown to be able to easily overpower normal humans, pull apart guns, swing at high velocities on a rope or web, and was able to hold a van with one hand while hanging from a web. The van most likely weighs more than 2 tons. Although he appeared to be exerting a lot of effort and it appeared he could not hold on too long. His strength also allows him to jump higher and farther than a normal human, easily capable of jumping from one building over a street to the next.
Superhuman Speed: Spider-Man can run and move at speeds that are beyond the physical limits of the finest human athlete, though the exact extent of this speed has yet to be determined. When a car theif tried to take a car, Spider-Man was already in the back. Upon the thief getting out of the car, Spidey was already out of the back seat and behind him.
Superhuman Stamina: Spider-Man's advanced musculature produces less fatigue toxins during physical activity than an ordinary human. This allows him to exert himself physically for much longer periods of time before fatigue begins to impair him. At his peak, Spider-Man can physically exert himself for several hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him.
Superhuman Durability: Spider-Man's body is physically tougher and more resistant to some types of injury than the body of a normal human. His body is more resistant to impact forces than anything else. He can withstand great impacts, such as falling from a height of several stories or being struck by a superhumanly strong opponent, that would severely injure or kill a normal human with little to no discomfort. As a result of his mutation, Peter's muscles and flesh are tougher than a normal human. He was capable of sustaining a fall onto a car that broke the windshield without any serious injury or discomfort.
Regenerative Healing Factor: Peter's metabolism is greater thus allowing him to heal faster than a normal human. He is also more immune to toxins and alcohol and drugs will lose their effects quicker. It is unknown if his healing is fast enough to effect his aging yet or if it ever will.
Superhuman Agility: Spider-Man's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are all enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. Spider-Man is extraordinarily limber and his tendons and connective tissues are twice as elastic as the average human being's, despite their enhanced strength. He has the combined agility and acrobatic prowess of the most accomplished circus aerialists and acrobats. He can also perform any complicated sequence of gymnastic stunts such as flips, rolls, and springs. He can easily match or top any Olympic record at gymnastics apparatus such as flying rings, climbing ropes, horizontal bars, and trampolines. Due to his incredible strength and flexibility, Peter is extremely acrobatic and is able to preform high jumps, somersaults, flips and the like.
Superhuman Equilibrium: Spider-Man possesses the ability to achieve a state of perfect equilibrium in any position imaginable. He seems able to adjust his position by instinct, which enables him to balance himself on virtually any object, no matter how small or narrow. He has developed a unique fighting style that has made full use of his agility, strength, and equilibrium.
Superhuman Reflexes: Spider-Man's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are currently about 15 times greater than those of an ordinary human. In combination with his spider-sense, the speed of his reflexes allows him to dodge almost any attack, even direct gunfire, if he is far enough away.
Wall-Crawling: Peter has superstrong hairs on his palms and feet that allow him to stick to any surface. This ability appears to be consciously used and is so far limited to Spider-Man's body (especially concentrated in his hands and feet) and another object, with an upper limit of several tons per finger. The full nature of this ability has yet to be established but it seems that like the comic version of the Spider-Man clone Kaine, he is capable of using this combined with his strength to uproot objects from their place without having to fully use his hands such as when he pulled open the back window of a van that he suspended with his webs to save a boy still stuck in the van and he did with ease.
Skills: Indomitable Will: Spider-Man has a strong force of will, completely free of evil and temptation. He has struggled to balance his life as a student and his superhero duties.
Genius Intellect: Academically gifted, Peter displays an uncanny affinity for science, mathematics, mechanics, biology, and physics. Peter is very smart, specifically in chemistry and physics. he is smart enough to perfect his father's webbing formula and to construct working mechanical web-shooters. He also apparently solves a formula that is key to creating the formula that mutates Curt Connors into the Lizard. He was able to create a device to lock and open his room door through a command switch. Also, upon starting his crime-fighting career, he created a device out of a cell phone to listen to police scans about crimes happening.
Skilled Combatant: Thanks to Peter's amazing superhuman physiology, acrobatic powers and spider sense, he is an excellent hand-to-hand combatant using a fighting style derived from his spider-like abilities, he made his own street style that could rival virtually any combatant out of sheer volatility to standard fighting techniques (e.g. webbing, wall crawling, super strength to lift heavy objects, etc.) Using a mixture of his superhuman strength, speed, agility, reflexes, speed, equilibrium, Spider-sense, and web-shooters, Peter is able to utilize an devastating acrobatic fighting style that makes him a formidable opponent and allowed him to easily take down thugs, cops (be it regular officiers or SWAT officiers) and even the more physically powerful Lizard.
Web-Slinging: Peter uses his web-shooters to travel by swinging on web-lines. Combined with his spider abilities, he can move at amazing speeds throughout the urban chasms of Manhanttan. It is unknown how fast but he seems to be able cover much of the city in a considerable amount of time.
Advantages: Peter Parker is a scientific genius, able to figure out and solve equations on the same level as his scientist father. He also upholds strong moral values (After the death of Ben Parker). He is very driven to accomplish his goals. He is a bit of a smart-aleck, making comedic remarks o add leviety to a situation.
Disadvantages: As a teenager, he is very impulsive and, combined with his drive, can lead im to do things others would frown upon. He sometimes cracks jokes at very inappropriate times. He is naive, and inexperienced as he is younger than most heroes.
Occupation: Hero, Student, Photographer
Citizenship: American
Place of Birth: Queens, NY

History: My life was a pretty normal one, until one day when in a game of hide-and-seek with my father, I found that his lab was broken into. This cause him to take his work and leave me with my loving aunt and uncle.
Flash forward thirteen years, now I'm seventeen, my parents died in a tragic accident, and Aunt May and Uncle Ben still are my caregivers. I get picked on in school, but it's not so bad until I tried to defend someone else, and Flash Thompson beat the stuffing out of me.Luckily, the lovely Gwen Stacey intervened before I was seriously hurt.
After school, I lied to Aunt May and Uncle Ben about my injuries so they wouldn't worry too much, and I discovered my father's old briefcase when I was moving things out of the basement because of a leak. Inside, I discovered his glasses, his Oscorp ID and a news article featuring him and his old partner, Dr Curt Connors.
I started doing some snooping around by stealing an intern's ID card (And thankfully Gwen, the head intern, didn't rat me out). Dr Connors spoke about cross-species genetics, and I became the first experiment a few minutes later. In a room where they constructed biocable using genetically enhanced spiders, one got out and bit me. That night, I fell asleep on the subway and wound up in Coney Island. After getting into my first brawl (where I wasn't getting whaled on) I made my way home.
The next day, when I realized what happened, I humiliated Flash in front of his friends, though Uncle Ben had to change shifts since he had to be called into school. Afterwards, I went to help Dr Connors with his limb-regeneration formula. Of course, I forgot to pick up Aunt May, and my uncle really got on my case about it. In a huff, I stormed out. The corner store I was at was robbed, and the robber gave me the chocolate milk I couldn't afford. (What a nice guy!) I chose not to stop him, but that changed when Uncle Ben did. For his trouble he was shot and killed.
I began to hunt down thugs that matched his description, and made my costume, mask and web-shooters, making me what I am today.Of course, these nightly escapades made me an enemy of the NYPD. (What a bunch of jerks!) Of course, my social life was working out alright, as Gwen Stacey invited me over for dinner. Her father, a member of the police, and I got into an arguement over Spider-Man's morals, and Gwen pulled me outside. I revealed myself to her there and we kissed.
Of course, duty calls, and my Spider-sense tipped me off to something wreaking havoc in this city I love. Turns out it was the Lizard, who was was actually Dr Connors, using his regeneration serum on himself. While helping people out, I managed to save a child in a car that was hanging off the side of the bridge. (You're welcome. Also it caught fire. What are the chances?). It was there I named myself Spider-Man.
The next day, I spoke to Dr Connors, who had scales on his face, tipping me off to who he truly was. Later on, I fought him in the sewers (Not my brightest move) where I lost my camera. Maybe writing my name on it and webbing it to a wall was a bad idea, since the next day, he attacked my school. I was able to fight him and web him up while protecting everyone. (Though I did have to throw Gwen out of the window). Once I found Connors' underground lab, I sent Gwen to Oscorp to cook up an antidote.
I knew Connors was heading there, and so I had to dodge the NYPD, where George Stacey found out who I was. He sent me off after I explained the situation, but a cop shot me (Still jerks!). But I bandaged my wound with web and some great construction workers made a pathway to Oscorp using cranes. When I got there, I got the antidote, to the Lizard broke my web-shooters and injured me.But george came to help me by distracting the Lizard so I could use the antidote and disperse it over the city in place of the serum the Lizard made.
Unfortunately, George was mortally wounded, and I promised him that I'd keep Gwen out of the fighting. I had to break up with her, but I can't avoid her, and while I did promise to distance myself from her, sometimes the best promises are the ones you can't keep.
