Matt Murdock usually stuck to Hell's Kitchen. However, someone needed to stop this, and the big timers hadn't even heard of the art thefts, as far as he knew at least. It wasn't like Tony Stark was going to travel around New York City at night looking for muggers and thieves.
No, that was work for the street level masks, like Daredevil. He didn't go out this far into Manhattan, but he'd had a feeling that the Metropolitan Museum of Art was going to be targeted tonight. Hell's Kitchen was in safe hands tonight, Matt had paid off the Heroes For Hire to take care of it while he dealt with something a little higher profile for the evening.
There was a reason why his costume was insanely practical, Matt figured. It was because of his ability to hide in the dark. One glance at him would make someone think he was a gargoyle, instead of a man in a uniform. That's why he was able to watch, or listen rather, while a woman made her way inside the met, and he followed soon after.
He could tell it was a woman, even the highest skilled thief of the male gender had louder footsteps than that, if anyone could tell by sounds, it was Daredevil. The Man Without Fear followed behind the woman. His outfit making for excellent cover in a museum of shadows, statues and paintings.
For now, he'd observe, but one step further outside the law, and she was all his to deal with.

[/I] She pondered to herself, but she couldn't make anyone out specifically. Even with her night-vision contacts, her pursuer hid themselves well. Repeated successful missions had plagued her. Untraceable? Perhaps to the normal police officer or civilian, but never a hero was factored into this. Her art theft had just gotten a lot more interesting. Swiftly she started to move throughout the museum, carefully removing all cameras as she knew their exact locations. Now, she was only 45% sure that she was being followed, so she still made her way to her prize. She made a detour though - Felicia realized, she could probably disable everything from the security room. She was able to use technology to an extent, and was sure that this would be easy. She knew where it was. She had looked at it many times, and made her way there, almost forgetting that there's a chance she's being pursued. Felicia knew there'd be people in there. There was no way around it, but she could easily get around them. "Easy as cake." She whispered to herself, practically inaudible. Unless you just happened to have an insanely enhanced sense of hearing. Instead of a door, she opted for a vent nearby. Climbing with ease she slipped into it, even when crawling through she didn't make noise. She was over her mark. Felicia saw the dull buzz of electricity from above, some of the screens were out. Presumably the ones she had disarmed. Felicia was about to open the vent, and jump down into the surveillance room. But she paused, something had stopped her from doing it. "What's your name, dollface?" This has been something Felicia's done since she was a teenager, of course she just started with small things. They were close, whether in the ventilation system or outside of it.[/ul]

Matt continually evaded notice from the woman he was following, but he knew that eventually he'd have to reveal himself. He couldn't have followed her her through the ventilation system. It was hard to remain silent there, so he wouldn't have been surprised if she'd actually caught him. She was aware she was being followed, so he waited by ducking into a crouching position, blending in with the statues below. Of course she knew he was there, but Matt would still have the edge in surprise if she tired to find him.
He could throw his voice a bit, a perk of training every muscle that were enhance when his vision was taken. He started by pretending to be a guard.
"Did you hear a noise?"
"Nah. I don't think so."
"Better check it out anyway."
"Man, you're a pain."
He hoped she'd take the bait, this way he'd be able to follow again, and hopefully go this time without being caught by her. Stealth was hard when you couldn't see.

He couldn't just keep stalking her through the museum, this was definitely the culprit. He wasn't a cop, he didn't have to wait until she actually pawed a piece of art before making his move on the situation, he could end this now.
Daredevil waited in the shadows, following Cat when he could, but never getting too close, not until she was awfully close to a work of art. Perhaps jumping the gun a bit, he moved in on the situation, snatching the woman's arm and twisting it behind her back, "You're the one who's been stealing all those works of art lately, aren't you? I've been following your story." Well, skimming it over the braille newspapers while he was at work and not doing anything.
"It's not often that I leave Hell's Kitchen," the Hornhead continued, "But for you, I made an exception, it seemed like they were never going to do anything to stop you, so I had to cut in and stop you." Matt wasn't going to let go, but he had the feeling she'd be putting up a struggle any moment now.

[/i] about him. And right now she had learned that he wasn't above twisting girls' arms. He hadn't spoken to her yet, but you could learn a lot from that. Now, Felicia wasn't an expert on speech patterns, she wasn't majoring in Linguistics. No, but what being an Art major taught her was this: always pay attention to individual details before putting it together with the whole. She was attempting to do that at the moment. Art majors, they could also 'make critical observations and then act on them appropriately'. Maybe higher-level education wasn't such a waste of time.[/ul]

"Oh no. I've been caught. You're not going to take me to jail are you?
Matt nearly twisted her arm harder, but restrained himself. She wasn't going anywhere unless he let her.
"It's been a long time since a man's touched me that way... maybe you should take me to dinner first?" Her voice barely above a whisper, but he could hear, "Although, I do like it rough, mister."
"This isn't a game," Matt shot back, "You've been stealing priceless works of art. I'm not playing with you." He wasn't going to let her go. He'd take her off to the police station and then let them deal with her, he wasn't up for putting up with her mouth.
He would have rolled his eyes when she asked if he'd show her his face, but they were hidden behind his mask as it was, so there wasn't really a point in wasting his focus on doing so.
"I'm not going to sit here all night and see who can be more sarcastic, so you can quit it now. I'm going to take you to the police, and that will be it."
