Personality: Clint doesn't like to waste time, and prefers to do missions where he actually gets to shoot something. He can be sarcastic, but is mostly kind to his friends. And if anyone wrongs him or his friends, they'd better watch out. Loki can testify to that. He'll fight for what he believes his right with deadly determination and accuracy.

Powers or Special Abilities: Though Hawkeye has no superhuman powers, he is a skilled marksman with an exceptional ability in archery, able to shoot a fast-moving target with pin-point accuracy. He uses a collapsible recurve bow which folds on itself and has laser sight, along with a trick arrow quiver. This contains a multitude of different arrowheads at the bottom from conventional to explosive arrows, a grapple line, and more. Hawkeye can make the quiver affix these arrowheads by dialling up a setting from a control on his bow.
Skills: As well as his archery skills, Hawkeye is trained to use traditional firearms as well. He can also hold his own during hand to hand combat, and is well able to deliver a good right swing.
Advantages: Hawkeye is a tough ol' soldier, trained to an excellent physical state. He is durable, capable of surviving in rough situations. New York, for example.
Disadvantages: Despite his abilities, Hawkeye is still a normal human, and may not do so well in a fight against someone who has powers, depending on who they are. His skills are also restricted by the amount of arrows he can carry in his quiver.

History: Well, I might as well get down to the very start, as ugly as it might be. My father was abusive, beating my brother who I called Barney and I in his butcher shop when he was drunk. He eventually ended up killing himself and our mother, so Barney and I were put in an orphanage. We ran away when I turned 13 and joined the Carson Carnival of Travelling Wonder as roustabouts. I was trained by two of the performers, Swordsman and Trickshot, and that's where I learned my archery skills. Barney eventually left to join the army, and later on, I ended up joining S.H.I.E.L.D. And I was and still am a damn good agent, if I say so myself. Even though I didn't kill Black Widow when I had to hunt her down for a mission. But if I hadn't, S.H.I.E.L.D wouldn't have one of their best agents now.
Eventually I met Barbara on a mission, and she was...well, we ended up eloping and getting married soon after. So you can guess what I thought of her. But then this guy, Phantom Rider, came along and took her. He made her forget me and get married to him. Now that was bad, but it didn't mean she had to kill him in the end. But she disagreed, and things have been...difficult. But we're trying.
There's not much else to say, really. I saw Thor when he first came to Earth (nearly ended up shooting him), then his not-as-nice brother arrived and made me his slave. But he won't be a problem any more. Life's back to normal for now.
