Like Reed, she tends to keep her Fantastic Four gear on, although the more adept she grows at keeping other objects invisible, the more likely she is to wear nice 'normal' outfits as well so she doesn't feel entirely like a freak.

Personality: Susan likes to keep herself presentable at all times, and enjoys interacting with others. She adds a human touch to the team, embracing emotions such as compassion. And while she can see the logical move to make in situations, she will always make the choice that feels right or engages her sympathies the most over what makes logical sense. She is very protective of her family and close friends, and while she puts others first as a rule, this group of people comes first for her. Even though she knows she is helping make a difference with the Fantastic Four, she would break off with them in a heartbeat if it meant protecting her family. Right now, Johnny can take care of himself, but should she ever become pregnant, that will change.

*Invisibility - Originally, Sue had little control over her abilities, but the first to manifest was, obviously, the ability to turn herself invisible. The ability to cause all wavelengths of light around myself so that others have the sensation of seeing 'through' me. In time, she also learned to turn other objects invisible as well, though it takes more concentration. She can detect things made invisible by physical means (such as machine).
*Psionic Force Fields - Along with bending wavelengths of light, Sue has the ability to project energy in the form of force fields, the size and shape of which are limited by her ability to visualize and hold the visualization. This does allow her a method to 'fly' in a sense, by visualizing rising columns, although it is fatiguing.
*Shock Waves - The force fields I project can also be used to carry force and hit an opponent or object.
Skills:
* Moderate acting skills (She took some classes, but never went anywhere with it. She kept focusing on science instead, hoping to impress Reed)
* Capable unarmed combatant (while she is very durable, and has the ability to project energy besides, her strength is comparable to a physically fit woman who exercises regularly)
Advantages:
Sue is a uniting force for the Fantastic Four, helping to balance out three testosterone driven males isn't easy. Especially when one only spouts out the scientific reasons for things instead of using common sense or language.

While emotions in themselves are not bad things, Sue's affect her decision making process. This can lead to her making poor choices, and also can split her from the rest of the team. Protectiveness aside, another change in her life came with meeting her aunt's boarder, Reed Richards. He was about ten years older than her and seemed more flustered than anything by her interest. Reed was the reason Susan worked so hard to get a science degree before talking her way into working as his assistant once she realized she was not interested in really pursuing acting as a career. She also works as a substitute teacher, but her crush on Reed only increased as the years passed, and from her perspective - he needs all the help he can get to keep him grounded and to remember important things like food and sleep. As his assistant, she was part of the crew Reed took up in his experimental space mission, and as such had her body subjected to cosmic rays which fundamentally altered her DNA.
