"How about this, I'll go up on the roof, change, get the coffee, go back up, change, and meet you across the street on the other roof."
"Sounds complex, but it'll work," Ms. Marvel replied with an impressed smile, delighted that Spider-Man had thought up a feasible solution for their coffee-dilemma.
He paused, "As long as you promise not to peek, I'm a bashful Spider, y'know? No peeping till you buy me dinner."
Marvel chuckled. "I totally understand," she said. "No worries - I won't peek, Scout's honor," she vowed, holding up three fingers in a mock salute, sort of like the GIrl Scouts.
"Hey, wait... All I have to do is buy you dinner, and I'll get a free show?" Marvel asked, just as Spider-Man was on his way to his roof to change. She smirked and gave him a little wink to indicate she was just messing around.
"See ya in a few..." Carol said, and then she went to one rooftop, and he went to another.

"Sounds complex, but it'll work."
"You think that's complex, you should see how I do dry cleaning." Spider-Man joked before he continued about not peeking at him. He paused, "As long as you promise not to peek, I'm a bashful Spider, y'know? No peeping till you buy me dinner."
Marvel chuckled. "I totally understand," she said. "No worries - I won't peek, Scout's honor."
He nodded, Spidey would have settled on smiling, but he had his mask on. With that, he swung away and headed off.
"See ya in a few..."
Spider-Man swung back for a moment before asking, "Forgot, how do you take your coffee?"
Soon after, he swung off again and went to get her coffee.

"Oh! Umm... Three sugars and two creamers, please?" Ms. Marvel answered, though her tone had sort of lifted at the end of her sentence, making her answer sound more like a question. She wouldn't have minded, though, if he'd just brought it to her black. It was just coffee, after all, and Carol wasn't just hanging around for coffee (she could make that at home). No, that was just a convenient excuse to hang around.
She flew to 'her' rooftop when Spidey left again, and she waited like a good girl - no peeking - just like she promised.

Peter went about his slightly complicated plan and retrieved the coffees. He'd gone a bit lighter on the cream and sugar, he wanted to at least try to sleep a little bit tonight. He was naturally (or unnaturally if you didn't count his powers as natural) was energized, which meant that he often was up nearly all night, and he certainly didn't sleep all that much as a college student anyway. No, he was all over the place really, so he cut back on coffees and sodas when he could.
Once he had everything, Peter changed back into his Spidey-suit and returned to Miss Marvel, "Watch out, here comes the Coffee Man."
He'd heard someone singing a Spider-Man song on the street once, he'd thought it was catchy enough to use as various jokes.

Ms. Marvel had been sitting on the edge of the rooftop, facing the opposite way that Spiderman had come from. True to her word, she hadn't peeked when he had switched over to his civilian-self and then back again.
She smirked and graciously accepted the cup of coffee. "Thanks, Spider-Man - You know, I think you're the only one of us heroes with your own theme song," she mentioned, having heard the same tune Spider-Man was rattling off (even though he used alternate lyrics just now, it had still been recognizable). "That's pretty sweet."
"So, you gonna stand there all night?" Ms. Marvel asked Spidey. "You can sit next to me, you know," and she patted the bit of roof beside her, inviting him to relax and join her. "I don't bite - unless you ask me to, of course," she joked, cracked a grin then took a sip of coffee.

"Thanks, Spider-Man - You know, I think you're the only one of us heroes with your own theme song. That's pretty sweet."
The hero chuckled a bit before shrugging, "Heard it on the street, it was kind of funny." He had to admit, being around Miss Marvel was a bit unnerving. For one, she was one of the most powerful heroes known to the general public, another thing was, she was just about as hot as it gets.
"So, you gonna stand there all night?" Ms. Marvel asked Spidey. "You can sit next to me, you know."
Peter blinked under his mask, "Oh! Right." He moved to sit beside her.
"I don't bite - unless you ask me to, of course,"
Spider-Man chuckled a bit before sitting down and saying, "Maybe next time, if I let you do that now, you won't respect me."
